Domestic couple

A Domestic Couple is a full charge household team that is usually a married husband and wife pair. The Domestic Couple typically has full responsibility for running the residence, and the position can involve a broad range of responsibilities, depending on your needs. Domestic Couple positions are usually live-in positions.

 

In a Domestic Couple pair, one person is typically responsible for maintaining the inside of the residence. Inside maintenance duties include the following: cleaning, shopping, menu planning, cooking, serving, doing the laundry, and overseeing other daily activities at the residence.

 

The other domestic professional is responsible for the outside grounds of the residence. Outside maintenance duties generally include gardening, light household maintenance, basic machinery maintenance, and vehicle care. In a situation in which an Employer has a broader staff, the Domestic Couple may only oversee the inside of the house.
